10 Tributes to Terry Pratchett

Prime Ministers and fellow writers have paid tribute to the great writer whose life ended on 12 March with a long walk into the arms of one of his most loved characters, Death.

Pratchett wrote about 70 books and is famous for his Discworld series and his humanist, atheistic worldview. In 2007 he announced that he had been diagnosed with posterior cortical atrophy, a rare form of Alzheimer’s Disease, and he became an international icon in his efforts to create awareness about the condition.
