As we grow up, we learn the clothes that we do and do not like. We begin to tell our mothers what clothes, food and music we like and dislike. Fashion and our sense of fashion is something that defines (to a certain extent) who we are and we start to dress in a way that suits us and is comfortable. Leah Solomon, fourth year journalism student and Artbeat blogger feels this way about the way she dresses – it must be comfortable.
Solomon says that her style came into play when she first came to Rhodes University. It is such a diverse university and people are able to express themselves in a way that may not be accepted in their home towns.
